Extremity care
The extremities, referring to the limbs of the body, including the related joints of the arms (shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand) and legs (hip, knee, ankle and foot) are affected by acute and chronic spinal imbalances. It is important to assess and support the function of these peripheral joints as needed and during the stabilization phase of spinal care.
Dr. Hunter has pursued additional training in extremity assessment and adjustments as needed to help support the postural correction to the spine. Additionally, Align Health & Wellness has a Certified Pedorthist to evaluate the need for further foundational support to the feet, knees and hips such as a custom or over-the-counter orthotics.
